Witness the transformation of massive 8-foot blocks of snow into intricate, towering works of art! The Alaska State Snow Sculpture Championship brings together artists from across the state to compete for snow dominance. This premier event showcases incredible talent and creativity, turning the Ship Creek area into a temporary outdoor gallery of frozen masterpieces.

Visitors can watch the carving process throughout the week as teams use specialized tools to breathe life into the snow. The competition culminates in a spectacular display of finished sculptures that remain on view for the community to enjoy, celebrating the beauty and artistic potential of an Alaskan winter.

Sculptures available to view Feb 28-March 8 from 10 am to 10 pm.

People's Choice Voting Sunday March 1st, 11 am to noon. Awards Ceremony at noon. Photobooth available from 11 am to 4 pm in front of the Matson snow sculpture.

Division 5 (Solo)
