We’ve got something super exciting to share—Fur Rendezvous is now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! That’s a fancy way of saying we’ve got a new kind of tax status that helps us do even more good for our community. We used to be a 501(c)(4), which is still great, but this new status opens a lot more doors for us. Now, when people donate to Fur Rondy, those gifts can be tax-deductible, which means supporters might get a little money back when they file their taxes. Pretty cool, right? But the best part? Becoming a 501(c)(3) means we can grow and improve Fur Rondy in even bigger ways! This change helps us apply for more grants, partner with other nonprofits, and keep this awesome winter celebration going strong for future generations. It’s a win-win for everyone—our fans, our sponsors, and the whole Anchorage and Alaska community. So let’s celebrate this exciting new chapter in Rondy history together!
